The Department of Nephrology does about 400 - 500 sessions / Month. Our growth rate in HD is about 10-15%/ Year. We had done about 50 Kidney biopsies till date. CAPD is being done in patients for whom Hemo Dialysis may not be optimal (or) as patient’s choice. We have saved several cases in septic shock and renal failure by employing CRRT dialysis. We will be shortly doing our live related Kidney Transplantation & are in the process of getting approval for cadaver Kidney transplantation. .
